After years of unsuccessfully trying for a baby, I started seeing her for Acupuncture, but actually the sessions provide far more than that: Amanda has an in-depth understanding of (in)fertility, the IVF process, local networks and facilities, recommendations, resources, what to expect etc. The sessions were incredibly helpful in so many ways. When I had a miscarriage I felt let down by the lack of accurate information available via NHS sources - what I was told I would experience did not reflect my actual experience at all - but Amanda knew and understood exactly. She helped with my recovery greatly. After years of tests and eventually IVF I am now 4 months pregnant and everything is going very well - I can confidently say that Amanda made the whole process easier to navigate and helped me prepare physically and mentally for the various stages. I have been having acupuncture with Amanda for a number of years and can’t thank her enough for both my physical and mental well being . It’s been brilliant for my all round general health and also for when I’ve had sprains and injuries. The treatment has helped with pain and inflammation and expedited the healing process . I have been receiving acupuncture from Amanda for the last 12 months. I suffer from severe pain due to spondylosis throughout my spine. After the first couple of sessions I was actually pain-free for a few days; the first time in years. I am now receiving battlefield acupuncture from Amanda every two weeks and I am completely pain-free… Even my GP is amazed at the results and a drastic reduction in my daily painkillers.
